FAQ
Is NUZU a nonprofit? Are donations tax-deductible?
NUZU News is not a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit at this time. Donations are voluntary support, not tax-deductible charitable contributions. Consult your tax advisor for your own situation.
Where does the money go?
Hosting, domain, build-server resources, source monitoring, and the time it takes to maintain the codebase and keep the source list curated. Any surplus goes straight back into site improvements.
Do I get anything in return?
Right now: our sincere thanks and the knowledge that you're keeping an ad-free, tracker-free news aggregator alive. Patreon and Memberful tiers may include perks in the future; nothing required.
Why so many options?
Different people are comfortable with different payment methods. Some can't use credit cards; some prefer crypto; some only have PayPal. We offer what we can so no one is excluded.
I'd rather support in a different way.
Share the site, tell a friend, point out a publisher we should add (or remove), or report a bug. Word of mouth is priceless to a project like this.
